Co-Curricular Activities

Apart from outshining in academics , Mayur Public School has surpassed everyone in the field of co-curricular activities also . The students are not only prepared for academics but also chiseled to excel in co-curricular activities.

A wide range of activities are organized in the school in order to bring out the versatile talents of the children . Mayur Public school has been a regular participant in the Zonal competitions . The students have always brought laurel to the school and proved their embellishment at the Zonal , State and National both in cultural activities as well as sports . The school boasts of winning a trail of prizes in the series of competition held between September and February each year . These achievements have added to the fame and prestige of the school . Apart from the competitions , Mayurians have participated and have won many prizes in the events conducted by different Govt. departments,NGO’s and other organizations . One of the remarkable achievements of Mayurians is getting first position and cash prize at National Level in the Gandhian Quiz organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti . The students proved their potentialities in literary activities like Extempore , Essay Writing , Poem Recitation, Debate , Elocution , Declamation. One Act Play etc organized by Directorate of Education,Govt. of NCT Delhi.

Sports Achievements

Participation in extra curricular and sports takes equal importance alongside academic performance . In addition to physical development and exploration of interest, students learn the thrill of the challenge and competition, the importance of concentration , the spirit of team work and the essence of accomplishment .

Mayur Public School endeavours its efforts to provide proper facilities for training in games and sports to students manned by experienced and professional coaches . It participates in a multitude of activities to provide students avenues to express their sporting skills. These activities are designed to encourage individual excellence, team work and competitive spirit . A trail of prizes in a series of competitions add to the aura and pride to our school . Our boys and girls have excelled in hand ball , basket ball , volley ball , football, athletics , relay race , shot-put , javlin throw , discuss throw , TT, badminton at zonal & state level and have always brought laurels to the school not only by mere participation but also by securing one position or the other at different levels .
